I've really enjoyed both games on my Switch, enough to complete the first one, and I'm still clocking hours on the second one. I bought a pack of track cars and there are a few heavier ones that don’t like the loop but mostly they don’t have any problems. Models without fender protection are not recommended for use in boosters as the booster wheels rotate with sufficient force to bend the axles. I did a bit of engineering to get it to loop back by cutting down another piece but it works and the kids love it.

The boosters speed up the cars and as long as you place them at good intervals, your cars won't ever stop.
A booster is a track accessory inserted at certain points of a track layout used to propel cars at speed using two wheels spinning at high speed to grab the car and propel it forward. Other than those two qualms, and the first not really being relevant to a standalone rating, I love it. Early boosters use foam wheels; most modern boosters use rubber wheels due to the fragility of the foam which has a tendency to wear down over time through continued use. And if you don’t have the base game already, the Beach Buggy Racing 2: Hot Wheels Edition is probably best suited to your needs.Turbocharge your game with the Hot Wheels Booster Pack, an exciting new content expansion for Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure.
