The Lancashire Bomb is matured over 2 years, creating a very creamy and full flavoured taste and texture. Andrew Shorrock is the original creator of the Lancashire Bomb, having originally made the first bomb as a leaving gift over 25 years ago for a friend emigrating to America.

The Shorrock family have been making Lancashire Cheese since 1923, and Andrew Shorrock’s Grandfather won Supreme Champion at the Preston Open Cheese Competition in 1938. Matured for 24 months it has a wonderfully creamy texture and strong mature flavour, a Tasty Lancashire Cheese. Aged for 2 years, offering a full creamy taste and crumbly texture, this is popular dinner party cheese.This is a very popular Lancashire cheese due to the intensely creamy and full flavoured taste which leaves you wanting more. When you just can’t resist and have to dig in with a spoon, try pairing it with something a little spicy. At time of writing the other flavours include smoked, chilli, black pepper, garlic, red onion and whiskey!
