Back in February, beloved beauty brand Becca Cosmetics announced that it would officially be shutting down come September. The Opal colorway swatches slightly too bright (looked almost like a shimmery blush or light bronzer) on me, even with my summer tan. After you posted about Becca shimmering pore perfecters last month I went out and bought 2, one liquid ( in topaz) and one powder (can’t remember name, it’s a taupe one). Like a spotlight for the skin, Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter lights up your favorite features. Granting this ingenious highlighter a touch of well-deserved opulence, BECCA has embossed it with a bottle of shimmering bubbly and wrapped it up in gleaming gold and silver packaging.There is a brand new and beautiful BECCA Champagne Pop Collector edition and there are five new formulas to get involved with! I recommend storing the compact in something padded to reduce the chance of breakage, or you could always mummify it with a dozen rubber bands like some kind of crazy makeup person. I – thank God – could grab one, although I think it could be similar to MAC’s Perfect Topping which is my favourite highlighter EVER but since I don’t own any BECCA highlighters, this one was a MUST! They can be built up to use a bronzer/blush/highlight (depending on the shade and your skin tone), but they aren’t in your face with shine.

It's so intense that you have to learn how not to overdo it because YOU WILL OVER DO IT the first time you use it. The 8g baked highlighter will last you a long time and I would strongly recommend it, it's definitely one I will be reaching for often. Champagne Pop has become a cult classic in the world of highlighter, it somehow manages to complement a wide range of skin tones and it's smooth application and easy blending have made it a dream to work with.
