About this deal
Whether you're framing a portrait, exploring landscapes, or embarking on creative projects, this film promises to preserve your memories with enduring charm and elegance. Analog Elegance: Whether you're documenting daily life or pursuing artistic endeavors, Portra 400 brings an air of timeless elegance to your photography.
Portra 400 is a professional film and does a great job of retaining the highlights (not just making parts of your photo pure white) and keeping information in the shadows (so it’s not just pure black). The guys were nice enough to have a chat with me and were very helpful with tips and tricks to better my photography. The unique colour palette has made it an especially popular choice for portraiture and editorial work.
If you're in a budget or if you take little to no time finishing a roll, spending €15 on a roll is quite a tough decision to make. This film essentially combined the old NC (natural colour) and VC (vivid colour) versions while incorporating some technical advances from the Kodak Vision motion picture films. In that same tradition, the new PORTRA 400 Film is the ideal choice for portrait and fashion photography, as well as for nature, travel and outdoor photography, where the action is fast or the lighting can't be controlled. The Kodak Portra 400 Colour Film / 120 is a colour negative film great for portraits, fashion and commercial shoots.
Maybe you’re using that harsh light to your advantage, or you use a giant window to soften the light. This means that it is known as a mid-speed film, and will be able to take photos in most common lighting situations.Medium Format Magic: Designed for 120 roll film cameras, this film lets you explore the world of medium format photography. As you can see from the photos above, I shot these under completely different conditions from the shots I took at the wedding. It means how many stops of light can the film handle from the darkest shadows to the brightest highlights.
