If you want something less synthetic, more well rounded, and office appropriate, this is the one to get. The scent itself is excellent, although slightly synthetic, its woody and creamy dried lemon, i love it. In general, on paper, the smell can last for days (the better) and it has a pyramid if it is done well! It is so fascinating to me how 2 people can smell one thing and have completely and utterly different views on how it smells. The oud note in this fragrance is not fecal or offensive, as some oud fragrances can be, but rather adds a woody and smoky dimension to the scent that perfectly complements the other notes.

It flattens the fragrance, conceals some of the nuances and developments, and contributes that slightly animalic tone. I do not really know how far of a scent bubble I get, but even if it’s only arms length, I love how long this will last me.One of the standout notes in this fragrance is oud, a prized ingredient in perfumery known for its rich and complex aroma. The performance it's enormous, it's lasting easily 10+ hours and projecting for 3 minimum, niche performance for sure. It is weird but I like very strong, beast mode type fragrances but this one is the closest I have to making me nauseous.

Perfect year round in just about every setting besides the scorching heat, and definitely signature scent worthy. I’m not being a nitpick fragrance snob either, I genuinely don’t get where folks are getting the comparisons. This perfume extract opens with a sharp, zesty burst of blackcurrant and citrus, Cedrat Boise quickly lays down a sexy heart of jasmine and patchouli beneath the lingering fruity freshness, remaining lively for hours before slowly melting into a sumptuous base of cedar, sandalwood, leather, and musky oakmoss. As a result of this devastating experience and disgraceful comparison to the KING AVENTUS, I'm very fearful of trying any more from this house, especially red tobacco.It's like a well dressed guy who is very serious about what he wants and he don't care about what's going on around him. I'd describe this as a smokers car with a bunch of fruity air freshner trying to cover up the smoke. I was wearing it in quite warm, summer night in a crowded club - it worked crazy good with my body chemistry and I could smell wonderful citruses with deep woods mostly, but with a hint of oakmoss and leather too - vanilla was present, but not that strong - everything worked together. Mancera continues to impress, it’s truly the niche sleeper, consistently trying something new, and executing quite well. I wore this to school with 3 1/2 sprays the other day (pressurized atomizer btw) and it was so strong it gave a kid a headache.

Mancera's Cedrat Boise is a niche composition mixed from high quality ingredients and targeted at the consumer who wants to wear something out of the ordinary. However, if you prefer a more elegant and versatile option, Cedrat Boise might be the better choice due to its softer dry-down with sandalwood and oakmoss. Top notes are Sicilian Lemon, Black Currant, Bergamot and Spicy Notes; middle notes are Fruity Notes, Patchouli Leaf and Water Jasmine; base notes are Cedar, Leather, Sandalwood, Vanilla, White Musk and Moss. I'd say the leather in the dry down is a couple of notches lower than a leather fragrance such ombre leather, but it's there. This one is by far my gfs favorite fragrance on me (with over 50 in my collection) so smooth and oh so pleasant.I get the hype: this is gorgeous, smoky-sweet lemon and fruit over subtly spicy woods and musk, not quite gourmand, not quite aromatic, not quite fruity-floral--different and yet somehow familiar, or genuinely appealing. Looking at the top notes of lemon and bergamot, you might be expecting fresh and zesty citrus but nope, it leans towards the sweeter side.
