The main selling point for me was its ability to be used in both Windows and MacOS by flicking a switch on the side. The 96% size keyboard is mainly based on the 104 keyboard, where the rarely used keys were reduced and all the keys were combined together.

It features Gateron Brown key switches with an actuation point of 2mm, providing a tactile typing experience. But, the backlighting effects on K2 V2 look fantastic while making it comfortable to work during the dark. I'm using it via Bluetooth with my Surface Pro (Windows), it was seamless to connect and I've had no issues with connectivity since. For players who are accustomed to a PC layout and need more desk space, we highly recommend this layout.On the other hand, the K12 is available with the same K2 options, but it's also available with no backlighting at all, and it has more switch options, including Keychron mechanical and optical switches, as well as in a hot-swappable variant.

Keycaps are sturdy and have rounded corner and extra keycaps are provided to switch between mac and windows layout. The K10 is full-size with a standard layout, while the K2 is smaller at a 75% size, so it doesn't have a numpad or certain navigation buttons like Print Screen, Scroll Lock, and Pause Break. Gateron Brown switches are great with a relatively mild and smooth actuation bump compared to cherry browns. It's a small, 75% compact keyboard that has a function row, Page Up/Down, Home, End, and arrow keys. The stabilisers on these keys very clearly have too much lubricant within the mechanism which makes them feel quite mushy. Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Keychron V2 comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. The RGB backlight helps with typing in the dark, along with the compact design make sit one of the best keyboards I've ever had. Engineered with double-shot keycap set allows backlight shine through the legends with a subtle feeling.
