About this deal

At 1440p the 5800X3D was 20% faster, seen when looking at the 1% lows. Interestingly, that margin opens up to 28% with the Radeon 6600 XT at 1080p and we even see a 12% performance advantage at 1440p for the 5800X3D. Motherboard MSI B450 Gaming PRO Carbon Max WiFi (scheda madre basata su tecnologia B450, non supportava il PCIe 4.0 ma era una bomba con antenna wi fi integrata)

This time the 3600X reduced the render time by just 4% when testing with Blender, at this point you're probably starting to question why we need two 6-core/12-thread Zen 2-based CPUs. Even with the 6600 XT we're still seeing up to a 47% boost at 1080p, and then just a 9% bump at the much more GPU limited 1440p configuration. Next up we have Shadow of the Tomb Raider and here the 3600 matched the 9600K, which is a good result given the 9600K costs more. The 1440p results were much the same, the 9600K creeped ahead by a few frames but overall performance was competitive and the 1% low performance of the 3600 was a good bit faster than any of the 2nd gen Ryzen parts. Of course, if you don't have the GPU to unleash the 5800X3D, or you're not interested in using low quality settings, the gains are going to be a lot smaller and we see that with the 6600 XT. That said, heavily CPU bound titles such as ACC or CS:GO will greatly benefit from the upgrade to the 5800X3D regardless. What We Learned Moving on to Cyberpunk, which is a title that's typically GPU limited well before CPU performance becomes an issue, at least when running a modern processor. That said, using the 6950 XT at 1080p saw the 5800X3D race ahead by up to a 55% margin, hitting 171 fps on average.Ancora oggi non ho avuto nessun problema, il Ryzen 5 3600 gira che è una bellezza e gioco con titoli come Horizon Zero : Dawn in 4k e tutto a ultra senza il benché minimo rallentamento.

Forza Horizon 5, like Dying Light 2, isn't a CPU intensive game, but unlike Far Cry it doesn't need to be. The Ryzen 5 3600 is very capable here, driving over 200 fps with the 6950 XT at both 1080p and 1440p. The Ryzen 5 3600 was solid in Rage 2, averaging 160 fps and that meant it wasn't a great deal slower than the 9600K. Moreover, the R5 3600 was fast enough to find the limits of the RTX 2080 Ti at 1440p, though this was true of almost all CPUs tested. We find similar results at 1440p, though here the 3600 matches the 1% low performance of the 9600K.Even with the Radeon 6600 XT installed, we're looking at gains between 90% and 100% at 1080p and even up to 60% at 1440p. Give it a try now with a similar division by 3. What is the Quotient and Remainder of 3600 Divided by 3? Here we provide you with the result of the division with remainder, also known as Euclidean division, including the terms in a nutshell: Based on our evaluation, the 3600's 4.2 GHz single-core max boost frequency is excellent for performance with the latest graphics-intense games. You can maintain these frequencies with a high-end cooler.

The Intel Core i5 was a little faster in a few of the games tested, but the R5 3600 was miles faster where you'll notice it. So this one's pretty cut and dry unless Intel decides to cut pricing heavily. Another nice piece of its performance is efficiency. Thanks to the shift to the 7nm process, the Ryzen 5 3600 manages a substantially lower level of power draw under load than the Intel Core i7-8086K and Core i7-8700K, which hit 110.68W and 100.63W, respectively. Meanwhile, the Ryzen 5 3600 pulled just 86.17W from the wall in our testing. As we've come to expect from Ryzen, the performance in Far Cry New Dawn was not great relative to the competing Intel CPUs, overall gameplay was still smooth nonetheless. Even at 1440p the R5 3600 is still well down on the 9600K, particularly when looking at the 1% lows. AMD's new 6-core CPU trailed the 8700K by a small margin in the Corona benchmark, but given the difference in price this remains a solid showing for the R5 3600. We only see a 1 fps difference in The Division 2 and we should also note that the 3600X and 3600 match the 3700X in this title and we saw a similar thing when testing with Battlefield V and Assassin's Creed Odyssey.Later on we plan to test 3rd-gen Ryzen with some B350 motherboards to see just how well these new processors work on entry-level boards. Shopping Shortcuts: We also saw over 70% performance gains in seven of the 23 games tested with most games showing over a 50% uplift, hence the 51% gain on average. Having tested both R5 3600 models (see all of that further down below), here's the tale of the tape: The Ryzen 5 3600 comes with a healthy 32MB of total L3 cache, a neat doubling of capacity over its predecessor and more than three times the cache of the -9500 and -9400F. That does come with a few caveats, however, as cache performance and efficiency has a big impact on how much cache capacity benefits the processor in typical applications. As usual, our benchmarks will tell the tale.
