For those with sensitivity to chemical smells, you do not have to worry because it does not have the common solvent smell. We love that it is ideal for treating different surfaces from Indian stove patio to concrete driveways so if you have a mixture of materials on your patio or driveways, for example, you can buy just the one sealant.
The acrylic solvent-based sealer offers a decent coverage of 2m 2 per litre on the first coat and 3.5m 2 on the second coat. You don’t have to worry about moss/weed/algae growth because the formulation features a biocide too. Pros Apply first coat very thinly over the surface area with Sprayer or Roller, leave for at least 1 hour before applying second coat. If you want to avoid a gloss finish, the Pro-Kleen PatioSeal dries matt, leaving almost no trace on the paving at all. To make things easier, the seal has a slightly milky colour when wet, which makes it possible to see which areas have already been covered. One 25 L bottle should be sufficient for the majority of spaces.

The 25 L bottle of solvent-free, acrylic coating is very reasonably priced considering its coverage, and it creates a good finish on the patio.Apply one coat to saturation. It is important to saturate the surface and allow the product to soak in.
Indian paving slabs look great the same day they are installed, but year-round, and beyond that, most forms of stone are going to weather down, fade, or generally lose their looks and colours. The impregnating sealers absorb into the stone, leaving the stone breathable, to prevent any moisture within the stone becoming trapped. Water-based sealers are mixed with a resin. This resin might be acrylic or polyurethane. Because they are water based, these sealers do not have as strong a smell as solvent-based sealers, making them more pleasant to use. Application can be done with a paintbrush or roller, and it spreads on easily. As with the majority of these products, if the sealer is allowed to pool during application, it will leave white marks when it rains – so beware! Patio sealers can be sprayed or applied with a roller or brush. The most effective patio sealer for patios will allow spraying as a method of application for complete coverage and this is usually the least wasteful, however, some people (like myself) prefer to use a roller or good old brush.It can be used in bathrooms and kitchens with stone or slate floors, as well as on concrete, slate, patios and other porous surfaces. The finished effect looks as though the stone is damp, which brings out richer tones and colours. PatioSeal creates a layer over the stones that makes them easier to clean, and it can help repel dirt, water, and oil. If you like to have BBQs on your patio during summer, but hate the messy grease stains that they leave behind, the surface should get much fewer stains after applying this sealer. Natural Stone Sealer Wet Look delicately deepens surface colours, thus enriching the appearance of the stone. This product works at its optimum on colourful sandstones and clay-based pavers. Any problems that are going to occur with your new patio are highly likely going to happen or be noticeable within the first few weeks.
